THE STUDIO
The studio opened its doors in 2002 under the direction of Andrea Soos, who began teaching in the greater Hamilton area in 1995, and has since established herself as one of the region’s most reputable yoga teachers. We are located in the city’s west end at the junction of Hamilton, Ancaster and Dundas, within walking distance to McMaster University.
Our bright, welcoming space features an abundance of natural light and room to move. A quiet, peaceful environment has been created for students to come away from the busy pace of life and focus inward under the guidance of exemplary teachers, all of whom are certified yoga instructors.
We offer weekly classes and special interest workshops, often inviting well-respected guest facilitators to share their knowledge of yoga, movement, and related disciplines.
Many of our students have attended Andrea’s classes since the beginning of her teaching career. Some have become yoga teachers themselves who continue their learning and professional development at the studio. We are committed to offering clear and compassionate teaching to adults, teens, expectant and new moms, and are thrilled to witness the growth of new and experienced students alike.
In addition to classes and workshops, we are also pleased to offer bodywork treatments on Fridays with Mark Aquino, B.Mus., MT.
The studio provides mats, blankets, belts, and any other equipment you may need. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
